The last time I updated this I was a 25 year old girl living in Paris, France. Not much has changed except the age and location. 28 and Philadelphia. Things I love include, but are not limited to...peanut butter, tights, blizzards, the beatles and Prince Harry. I love the Phillies more than the Surgeon General recommends. Which, in case you are curious, is 210 milligrams each day for a person of average height and weight. |
I am really really surprised they are not closing any in Philadelphia mainly because they are on every corner. For example: I work at Penn. There is a starbucks on the corner of 34th and Walnut…they just put in another at…34th and Chestnut. For all of you who do not live in the city…that is ONE BLOCK AWAY.
Ridiculous.
Starbucks has released the big list of stores it will be closing. People seem really torn up about this, and to be honest I am struggling to figure out why. I agree it is tragic and sad that there will now be thousands of displaced Stabucks employees, but I guess I’m struggling with the worth of those jobs versus the monstrosity that is that company as a whole and the good that will inevitably come out of the shedding of even a few hundred Starbucks locations.
